User interface for S/PRI in varioCRM
The electronic ordering and provision of fiber optic and copper cables is now even more effective directly with the S/PRI module integrated in varioCRM. A user-friendly user interface makes it easier for customers to change lines and products.
What is S/PRI?
The gigabit expansion continues to progress. But the FTTX connection technologies differ depending on the company expanding. Carriers, network operators and municipal utilities are expanding existing networks and creating new fiber optic structures, especially in rural areas. Accordingly, the number of NGA networks from different operators will increase. But advancing digitalization also requires high-performance products. In addition, open access is mandatory during expansion. The expanding providers must therefore make their networks available to other providers upon request. Corresponding wholesale offers will also increase as a result.
In the working group, together with the VATM (Association of Providers of Telecommunications and Value-Added Services) and Buglas (Federal Fiber Association), the specification of the S/PRI (Supplier/Partner Requisition Interface) 4.0 interface was carried out. The aim is to process the numerous supply and demand processes standardized and automatically. The advantage here is the easy switching from and to large and small network operators. In version 4.0 the interface applies to bitstream feed (BSA). In addition, the fiber optic connections into the apartment, the basement and VDSL are taken into account. Processing of COAX and TV cable networks is also possible.
Module in varioCRM
When the S/PRI interface was specified in 2014, dimari GmbH set it up as a standard interface. This makes mapping the processes directly to the customer in varioCRM even clearer. The log status contains all relevant information for successful or aborted processes.
The working group's specification is implemented with the dimari S/PRI module. The processes for providing, changing services, terminating, troubleshooting and changing providers of different NGA networks (FTTH, FTTB, FTTC and FTTx) are covered. The associated technical requirements such as transport encryption according to TLS 1.2 and signing of the SOAP body according to WS-Security 1.0 using binary tokens are met according to the specification.
The S/PRI module complements the portfolio for the automation of connection changes.
