End customers switch automatically
So far, the end customer switch to a new carrier has been very complicated. The customer himself terminated his old provider in writing and concluded a contract with the new provider. For the porting, the two telco providers had to communicate by telephone and fax. In some cases, this led to interruptions that meant that private and business customers could not be reached by telephone or internet for a while. For this reason, companies in the German telecommunications market have agreed on automated pre-voting via WBCI. The end customer simply signs the corresponding document with the new provider, the termination and porting takes place automatically.
The preliminary coordination requests and notifications from the receiving end customer contractual partner (hereinafter referred to as EKPauf) are transmitted electronically to the transferring end customer contractual partner (hereinafter referred to as EKPabg). In return, the EKPabg sends feedback on the inquiries to the EKPauf.

WBCI with varioSuite
The synergies of an electronically supported switching process can be used with the integrated CRM module. The interface to the web service is set up at contract level. Messages about the status of the porting end up directly in the customer management system.
The WBCI xService sends and receives pre-requests and associated messages to a host. Essentially, this concerns the business cases “termination with or without porting a number” and “pure number porting”. It is also possible to cancel or change the pre-arrangement via cancellation and rescheduling requests.
Technically, this happens via a SOAP interface. The service represents an intermediary point between the logically structured data of the CRM database and the message content and format expected by the WBCI.More information on the topic here
