As companies expanding in funding areas are obliged to offer open access to their networks, they are faced with new challenges. But it also offers new possibilities for network utilization. Regional companies can in turn offer white label products.
Standardized S/PRI interface
The expansion of the NGA networks in Germany will continue to be focused in 2022. On the one hand, existing networks are being further expanded by partly different companies, and on the other hand, new networks are being set up. However, the expanding companies work with different FTTX connection technologies. Through Open Access, carriers can access the networks of other expanding companies or, in principle, purchase white label products as Internet Service Providers (ISPs). For a simple network change from fiber optic but also copper, the “Interfaces and Processes Working Group” defined the S/PRI interface. The working group is made up of representatives from different network operators. Standardized for the entire German telecommunications market, small and large providers use this option to easily switch networks.
Automated line change with S/PRI module
dimari GmbH developed the appropriate S/PRI module years ago. This is integrated into the customer management software varioCRM. When the status of the contract changes, the ordering of the intermediate products and the switching processes are automatically triggered. All processes from the client to the service provider are shown. By purchasing an interface certificate, companies can use the module and at the same time act as a service provider for other companies that do not have their own S/PRI interface. Using the dimari module makes open access to your own network easier.
Bitstream Access
Business and private customers are increasingly interested in higher bandwidths. This increases supply and demand. The S/PRI interface takes into account the various FTTX connection technologies with fiber optics up to the router for the bitstream feed. But COAX and HFC products can also be processed. dimari GmbH implemented this last year. Our customers can therefore offer and sell DSL and FTTH wholesale products throughout Germany.More information
